Question of the Week-#102

Ok ladies and maybe a few gents out there here is your question of the week-

Would you "pimp" your kid out? Meaning would you become a stage Mom or Dad weilding your child's career behind a curtain and let them do films, tv, or modeling even at the infant age?

Let fly!

I most definitely would! Why not let them make some money for college instead of me having to save up for it! Especially when I have 3 children!

  2. I have to say no and that I have thought of it. Many people have approached me and advised that I sign my daughter up for modeling gigs, but I just can't wrap my arms around the idea. For one thing, I do NOT in any way want to raise a child who believes her physcical traits rank superior than any others. Secondly, why exploit??? My husband mentioned why not save the money for her college, but my thought was there are other ways. Of course... this is all just my personal opinion! :)

  3. It seems just fine as long as you don't push it too much. A friend of mine let her kids model (she has beautiful kids) and they were able to travel quite a bit. I think as long as it's fun for everyone it could be fine!

On the other hand, you don't want your kids to grow up thinking the universe revolves around them, so I guess teaching some humility would be important as well, right?

    I say go for it!

  4. NO pimping but college fund yes!
I dont see anything wrong with a light dable in modeling or acting if it means puting some cash away for later. I would never do pagents or put lipstick on my daughter though I know this seems to come up disguised to parents as inocent, I wont make her look like a barbie.
